One bedroom is available in our charming 4 bedroom/1 bathroom house next to the Children's Hospital in Temescal/North Oakland. Rent is $1075 per month, and utilities average $125/month. Preferred move in date is January 1/early January; move in is available as early as Dec 17, and the initial lease is 1 year, with month-to-month after. We are a house of three Berkeley graduate students (C - 25, she/her; M - 27, she/her; M - 26, they/them) and one extremely soft cat named Glenn (other small pets could be considered). We enjoy spending time together (movie nights, house dinners, going out to bars) and have really made our house a home! We would prefer another female and/or queer-identifying roommate. The available room (pictured) easily fits a queen bed and desk, and has a built-in closet that fits a dresser. The house has plenty of communal space and there is a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer on site. The backyard has a storage shed and a huge garden that is our pride and joy, and there are available plots if you're a gardener! The 18 bus stops right outside our house, the F and 6 buses are a 10 minute walk away, and Macarthur BART is a 15 min walk/5 min bus. UC Berkeley campus is 20 minutes away by bus or bike. It's a 5 min walk to the Telegraph area of Temescal with a Whole Foods, Walgreens, and lots of restaurants and bars.
