HNTB is seeking a Scheduler III for out Oakland, CA office.
Job Summary
The Scheduler III will Build and maintain schedules for projects.
Monitor and report on status, analyzing schedule and associated changes for key risk areas and milestones impact.
Perform complex scheduling assignments with limited supervision.
Generally work on large or complex projects or may work on multiple smaller projects

Performs complex scheduling assignments with limited supervision.
May be exposed to other aspects of project controls and contributes to project teams.
Independently develops new project schedules for moderately complex projects using scheduling software.
Performs schedule risk analysis, including quantitative risk analysis.
Maintains project schedule including progress updates, revising forecasts, and evaluating impact of delay.
Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team.
Performs schedule analysis critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant changes to schedule.
Prepares reporting from schedules including EVA analysis, integration of cost & schedule.
Develops what if scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid schedule delays.
Performs contemporaneous schedule analysis.
Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.
Researches project documentation relating to claim data, including project correspondence and inspection diaries.
Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team.
Performs claims related analysis using contractor claims, delay cost estimates, time impacts, etc.
Usually involves varied work within general procedures which may require some judgment and initiative.
Some unusual cases outside general procedures referred to supervisor.
Essential Responsibility
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Business
4 years related experience.
Without preferred degree, 8 years' experience in project controls required
Scheduling experience involving CPM scheduling of multi-project work programs, including the development, cost-loading, monitoring, updating, reporting and presentation of project plans and schedules.
AACE,PSP or EVM Certification preferred.
Experience in construction projects required.
Experience in transportation projects preferred.
Experience in claims review and mitigation preferred.
Experience with cost management, budget control, forecasting, and trending.
Experience with Primavera P6 latest version is a required.
Must have computer skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience in MS Access and report writing is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance as needed

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
