Rentokil North America is currently looking for a visionary, driven, results-oriented leader passionate
about providing World Class Service to our commercial and residential customers in the position of
Regional Director in North California.
The Regional Director is a Sr. Leadership role for the West Market that will be responsible for the overall direction of operations for a combined portfolio of accounts across North California, which includes both our Pest Control Control and Ambius (interior/exterior landscaping) businesses. He/she will have primary responsibility for providing strategic direction and consistent execution of the operational, financial, sales, and people related initiatives across the assigned region.
Specifically, the Regional Director will be accountable for providing overall leadership and execution in
the following areas:
Grow the Business
- Continuously look for new revenue streams, ways to improve profitability, enhance margins, and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage by improving upon operations, client/customer relationships and driving operational excellence.
Customer Satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement to the customer experience.
Operational Goals & Targets
- Own the P&L! Participate in the strategic planning and budgeting process for all accounts in the regional portfolio. Achieve revenue maximization, budget, customer/account retention and people retention targets.
Partnership
- Actively partner with company leaders across Sales, Technical, HR, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure strategy execution and compliance.
Operational Excellence -
Conduct frequent site visits to targeted accounts across the business and provide written and verbal direction to onsite operational team and recommendations as a means of providing professional development and improving the business.
People
- Actively participate and drive the capability development of front line managers through formal and informal performance management and leadership development processes to ensure a pipeline of ready-now talent.
Safety
- Embody and drive our Safety Culture.
Candidate
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven to ten years of relevant operations experience
within a customer focused, people driven industry. The Regional Director will possess the highest level of integrity and a strong sense of personal accountability for business performance and for
accomplishing the goals of the organization. He/she will have a proven track record in developing people and operating in a matrixed environment
This position requires 60% -75% travel.
Education
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; an advanced degree is desirable, but not required. Background in pest management is preferred.
