FileNet Administrator will have hands-on Configuration Release experience and 3
years of FileNet Administration experience. The FileNet Administrator is also required to have development experience with OOAD languages such at C#. NET, ASP.NET, Java, C++, etc.
The FileNet Administrator/Configuration Release Engineer will have a strong technical
background with infrastructure, development, database and modeling experience. The ideal candidate will have DevOps experience with integration, targeting product delivery, quality testing, feature development and maintenance releases in order to improve reliability, security and faster development cycles. This role will serve as the go-to FileNet Administration resource on the team.
Qualifications
2-5 years of active FileNet P8 (4.x and 5.x) Administration experience (development skills also required)
Diagnose and provide FileNet technical solutions for any application issues
2
years of programming experience with one of the following OOAD development languages C#, ASP.NET MVC, Java, C+
etc.
2-4 years of build/release experience with a focus on Infrastructure and Data
Multiple trade certifications and multi-platform experience is preferred
Experience utilizing DevOps to aid in release management by standardizing development environments
Strong background involving DevOps Enterprise Systems Management and Agile software development movements
Experience with Life Cycle Engineering, Code Migration, and Subversion.
Administer and support FileNet P8 systems on a daily basis
Administer and support FileNet P8 business process management systems
Evaluate user requests for new programs or modified program components to determine the feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility
Experience with Services Oriented Architectures (SOA)
Understand (synchronous/asynchronous) integration patterns
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the test environments and special project releases
Works directly with customers to define environment requirements and leads the environment set-up and maintenance
Leads test environment design or request meetings
Develop unit test plans and test data and scripts for application validation and verification
Troubleshoots environmental issues
Sets up and executes database changes and works with the database team to ensure data related needs are handled efficiently
Manages and executes the build, installation scripts and deployment scripts
Manages and maintains migrations between each tool promotion levels and the associated testing or production environment
Performs code migrations and may prepare, merge, and version code for production builds
Compiles release notes to summarize contents of each migration and creates scripts to migrate code
Works with the Release team on transition from development to productionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
