The implementation work is divided into six distinct deployments covering one or more locations each. The ERP Program Manager will focus on program life cycle management and ensure that the assigned deployment delivers the intended benefits by developing and applying project management best practices to all program components.
The ERP Program Manager will apply ERP implementation experience and expert judgment in assessing existing plans and monitoring work related to the assigned deployment. S/he will also be responsible for identifying and managing deployment risks, coordinating work between various program teams, and maintaining effective relationships with program stakeholders.
The ERP Program Manager role will report to the PMO manager and will also assist in definition and improvement of project and program management methodology and practices, including current state assessments and implementation of future state core project and program management processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Assess existing program environment and roadmap and develop and maintain a program management plan for assigned deployment
Define, implement, and lead repeatable processes for monitoring program lifecycle management processes including progress reporting and work management
Initiate new program components to conduct the integration of other program components as needed
Lead teams or individual PMO staff members to ensure successful execution of supporting program and project management processes for assigned deployment including risk management and integrated change control
Assess various program management performance areas and supporting processes and develop process guides, training, and communications materials to implement required improvements
Develop collaborative relationship with various stakeholders and program leaders and ensure their perspectives are reflected in work products

Required Skills and
Experience:
B.S. or M.S. degree or equivalent experience in business or information management
10 or more years of experience in ERP management and/or implementation
Experience as project manager in minimum of 3 ERP implementations preferably with PeopleSoft HR
Requires strong conceptual and planning skills
Is able to establish priorities, goals/objectives and timelines
Mastery of best practices in project management discipline required
Demonstrated skill in managing technical and functional staff
Experienced in leading change management activities and managing their impact across the unit or department
Demonstrates ability to delegate and oversee assignments to ensure successful and timely completion as well as to obtain the cooperation of others within and outside the unit. Works in a collaborative manner to achieve results
Excellent oral communications skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information, and tactfully deal with diverse people, situations and ideas
Excellent written communications skills which demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and complex business concepts in technical terms
Advanced knowledge and understanding of MS. Project, MS Visio, MS. Excel and pivot tables, project management concepts, practices, standards, and processes
Requires PMI Project Management Professional certification
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
