Job Description:
The Financial Consultant will develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control, and will perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. This role will also gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, investment decisions, and operating forecasts. Other responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of monthly financial close and supporting Operations Directors in managing financials.
Essential Functions:
Perform financial planning and analysis including budgets, forecast, long range planning, and variance explanations. Provides project, service line or product line management, management consulting, and analytical decision support services or technical expertise for a broad array of financial and operational issues. Responsible for more complex multi-faceted projects and analyses across disciplines and functional areas. Assists in developing performance monitoring process and coordinating compilation, interpretation and presentation of monitoring information. Be the finance strategic partner to multiple HR Functional leaders. Conducts or participates in complex projects where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of factors. Build business cases supporting new initiatives and work to realize projected benefits. Participates in the planning and development of regional, departmental and/or functional budgets. May be responsible for budget system completion, high level reviews and conducting area wide analyses for target development. Prepare accruals and supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field OR 4 years of additional equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 8
years of financial analysis experience - strong working knowledge of accounting, experience with Business Cases Analysis. Regularly contributes to the development of new financial analysis reports, concepts, techniques, and standards. Expert proficiency in PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications, including advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, and macros. Database management experience preferred. Knowledge of several or all of the following: general finance theories and methodologies discounted cash flow analysis cost/benefit analysis feasibility studies large scale business planning financial modelling Able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision or direction. Experience working with non-financial oriented business partners. Ability to work with ambiguity as well as has a sense of urgency. Ability to speak financials to non-financial people.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
