The Director of Continuous Quality Improvement will be joining the organization?s senior management team, and will be reporting directly to the Executive Director

THE JOB:
TheDirectorofContinuousQualityImprovementwillworkcollaborativelywithothermembersoftheseniormanagementteamtocreateandleadasystemofrobust,data-drivencontinuousqualityimprovementthatinformsandconnectspractice,trainingandoutcomesinsupportofagencystrategicgoals.

This individual will be supporting the organization?s goals to improve their clinical quality assurance, and help bridge the data gap by tying outcomes and results to the incredible work being accomplished. This Director will lead the migration from a compliance driven model to a progressive, sustainable improvement model.
WHAT YOU?LL BE DOING:
ContinuousQualityImprovement:
Creationandoversightofagency-widestrategyforservicedocumentationinallareas,withafocusonMediCal/EPSDT,MAA,compliance,andclient?srights;Ongoingassessmentofstrategycostandrisk.
ServesasagencyHIPAAPrivacyOfficer.
Plansandleadssystemofauditsandutilizationreview.
IncoordinationwithSeniorManagementTeam,overseesaccreditationactivities;monitorongoingaccreditationmaintenanceandguideeffortstobringdeficienciesintoalignment.
Actsasmainliaisonandcontractmanagertoexternaldatabasedeveloper;leadgroupofenduserstoinformdatabasedevelopment.
Incollaborationwithprogramstaff,conductsRootCauseAnalysisasneeded.
LeadsagencyCQILeadershipTeaminpracticeimprovementandimplementationofagency-widequalityimprovementprocedures.

Training:
WorkscollaborativelywithSeniorManagementTeamtocreateandleadsystemofstafftrainingthatsupportsagencytreatmentphilosophy,evidenceinformedinterventionsandaccreditationstandards.
Usingagencydata,assessestraininggaps, identifiesandvetstrainingcurriculumsforonlinelearningsystemandcreatestrainingcurriculumsasneeded.
Actsasinternaltrainerforagencyadoptedpractices,interventionsandtoolssuchasCANs,CollaborativeProblemSolving, etc.
Disseminatesresearch,analyticreportsandrelevantdata,includingemergingfindingstosupportstaffandprogramimprovement.

Outcomes:
WorkingwithSeniorManagementTeamandprogrammanagers,developsstrategicandoperationalmetricsfortheprogramsasabasisforproductivity,performance,results,andaccountability.
Incoordinationwithprogramsanddatabasedeveloper,createskeymetricsreportstokeepdirectcarestaff,management,Boardandexternalpartnersinformedofperformance.Withprogramleads,createsandmonitorsplansofcorrectionasneeded.
Asneeded,identifiesandvetsoutcomemeasuresforadoptionbyprogram/agency.Leadsimplementationefforts.
Usesdatagleanedfromoutcomestoinformtrainingneeds.
SupervisesQualityAssuranceandImprovementCoordinator.Overseeshiring,training,development,supervisionandevaluationofQualityAssuranceandImprovementDepartment.
Overseesclientrecordssystem,includingarchivingandrecordsrequestsprocesses.
Representsagencyatcounty/statemeetings,workgroups,andadvocacyefforts improvement,trainingandoutcomes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Exceptional experience and understanding of managing quality assurance, improvement and compliance within a nonprofit or government agency.
Experience with reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex compliance and regulation guidelines.
Abilitytopresenttechnicaldatatoindividualsatalllevelsoftheagencyinamannerthatmakestheinformationaccessible,actionableandmeaningfulfordecision-makingandprogramimprovement.
Knowledge of electronic health records/database use and development; Experience with County/State systems a must.
LCSW, MSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD or comparative experience required.
Demonstration of progressive leadership experience within a professional setting; ability to lead, mentor and train staff an absolute must!
Advanced
computer
skills including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, clinical databases.
Travel throughout the East Bay is expected, valid driver?s license, auto insurance, and access to an automobile is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position offers a competitive salary within the $80K to $90K range (depending on experience), as well as a robust benefits package.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
