Uptown Ford of Oakland Uptown Ford of Oakland Oakland, CA Oakland, CA Full-time Full-time $3,000 - $4,000 a month $3,000 - $4,000 a month We are a new car Ford dealership on Oakland's Broadway Auto Row seeking qualified individuals for all dealership departments (Sales, Service, Parts, Technicians, Business Office).
This posting is for a Parts Manager and Counter persons to assist service technicians and wholesale/retail customers in purchasing parts and accessories.
This position requires excellent sales and customer service skills, and a professional appearance and demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.
- Complete special order parts requests - Process daily stock orders and return it to proper bin location in the parts department- Communicate with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership.
- Perform inventory audits on regularly scheduled basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
Parts Counter Ideal
Qualifications:
- 1
years wholesale and retail parts counter experience preferred (We will consider the right person with less experience, but willing and able to learn) - Good communication and customer follow up, computer, internet, and sales skills - Good communication skills - A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record - This position will include wholesale and retail counter parts sales, as well as delivery driving of parts to wholesale customers as needed.
