Manager Pizzeria Violetta is a family run restaurant featuring freshly made, wholesome food and drink.
We offer pizzas by the slice or whole, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, beer, wine, sodas, juices coffee and tea.
We named the restaurant after our daughter and we honor her generation's future with a commitment to do what we can to lower our impact on the environment and to support others who do the same.
All of our products are handmade, locally sourced and organic when possible.
Our packaging is compostable and our cleaning supplies are environmentally friendly.
We are currently hiring for the position of cashier and dining room attendant.
This position is the face of our restaurant.
They will welcome all of our guests, explain the menu, process the payment and provide the meals.
In addition, they will keep the public space clean, stocked, organized and welcoming.
Responsibilities - Welcome each guest as you would a guest in your home.
Make eye contact, smile and offer guests assistance.
If this is their first time with us offer to explain our products.
Pay attention to the guest in front of you.
They are your priority.
Take orders (in person or over the phone) properly, repeat the order back to the guest confirming accuracy and offer additional items in case they have missed something.
Take payment properly, confirming the total with the guest.
Properly and securely handle cash.
Count your cash drawer at the beginning and end of every shift.
Accurately process cash transactions to ensure there are no cash shortages or overages at the end of your shift.
Answer all incoming calls with a smile.
Organize and distribute all orders to ensure guests receive the correct items.
This includes in store orders, take out, and delivery.
Keep the front service area stocked with all necessary items for each shift and the following shift Keep the guest area stocked with all beverages, salads, sandwiches and service items at all times throughout the shift.
Spot clean the floors, counters, doors, and windows of the service area and the guest area throughout the shift.
Regularly monitor and clean the bathroom throughout the shift.
Execute closing duties that include; cleaning, stocking, beverage production and settling the cash deposit.
Execute any additional reasonable task requested by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements - Timeliness and attendance are critical to the success of this position A pleasant demeanor and outward positive attitude Desire to work with the public in guest service The ability to communicate in person and over the phone in English.
Bilingual is a plus.
Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Must comply with uniform standards including wearing non-slip shoes Work in a noisy and fast pace environment Practice all public health and safety guidelines as required by the county of Alameda Provide a Food Handlers card within the first 14 days of employment Job Types:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
