As an HR Recruiter, you will play a central role in finding passionate, dedicated and mission-driven employees to join our agency! The HR Recruiter attends career fairs, conducts phone screenings and group interviews, reviews resumes, and communicates with program directors to ensure that each program's hiring needs are met.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain Human Resources experience within a nonprofit, collaborative setting.
The Recruitment team is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the agency's marketing and advertising materials as it relates to recruitment and general branding efforts.
This position will have a hybrid work schedule with the expectation that you are onsite 3 times a week at our Oakland headquarters.
Seneca is a nonprofit mental health agency dedicated to providing individualized, strengths-based support for children and families during their most difficult times.

Responsibilities:
Research, coordinate and attend career fairs.
Order and maintain career fair supplies.
Effectively track applicants as they go through the interview process.
Maintain and coordinate agency openings and interview schedules.
Schedule and conduct interviews, including group interviews, via Zoom.
Conduct reference checks and employment verifications.
Responsible for the creation of marketing materials, both in copy and via the Internet.
Build relationships with Seneca's program leaders, communicating frequently and effectively regarding open positions, current applicants, and recruitment efforts.
Maintain applicant database and efficiently track and record associated paperwork.
Research and establish effective recruitment avenues for all agency positions.
Update and maintain job postings on Seneca's internal job boards, main agency website, and external job boards.
Research and develop effective systems and procedures for communicating information to external contacts, including the development of new recruitment methods.
Qualifications:
Minimum education/experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree or equivalent
1 year of applicable work experience OR High school diploma/GED
2 years of applicable work experience Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in an administrative capacity requiring customer service, data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and/or coordination with multiple departments Direct care experience in the mental health or education field a plus.
HR/Recruitment experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Superb multi-tasking skills.
Solid computer skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability through Seneca's automobile insurance.
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
Schedule:
Full time, Monday - Friday 9am - 5:
30pm Hybrid work schedule 3 days a week at Seneca Golf Links Campus in Oakland, CA
Benefits:
Salary range is $29.
87 - $32.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
