Head of Product

We're looking for a high agency, impact-focused, and insight-driven Head of Product to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product and company.
If you want to work on a product customers love, want to sweat both the 30k foot view and the details, and you're excited to make a social impact while working in tech, then this role is for you.
Instrumentl is fully distributed, with a significant percentage of the team in the SF Bay Area.
For this role, we're looking for someone on Pacific Time, preferably in the SF Bay Area who is excited to work from our Oakland office 1-2x a week.

What you'll get to do:
Drive Key Business Metrics:
Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap to move the needle on ARR, Retention, and ACV, in collaboration with the GTM teams.
Define and Re-define Product Strategy:
Develop and define a clear product strategy aligned with the company's vision, goals, and growth goals; Help us prioritize opportunities as we expand the product, go up-market, and explore new possibilities for impact with AI.
Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team:
Recruit, develop, and support product managers and designers across our Core, Data/Tools/ Infrastructure, and Growth teams, fostering a culture of low ego, high impact, and continuous learning.
Build Best-in-Class Processes:
Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to ensure quality, timely releases, and incorporate feedback cycles for continuous improvement and learning.
Champion Customer Focus:
Bring passion and insight to solving problems for nonprofits and grant professionals, ensuring the product strategy aligns with their unique needs and builds differentiation for InstrumentlCollaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to align on product strategy & roadmap, and help GTM teams successfully communicate and implement new product releases.
Develop Monetization & Pricing Strategy:
Leverage experience in B2B SaaS to make informed decisions around monetization, pricing, and product enhancements that help grow ARR and ACV.
Be a key member of the Leadership Team:
Actively contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company, report to the CEO, and collaborate with the leadership team to set company-wide objectives and identify growth opportunities.
What we're looking for 7
years of product management experience, including experience at early-stage and growth-stage technology companies Experience with B2B SaaS companies, with non-technical SMB or Mid-market buyers Proven experience identifying & shipping products that drive revenue Low ego and willingness to take on any part of the PM job if needed Strong project/program management skills Experience growing & coaching PMs Experience making metric-moving decisions around monetization and pricing Experience reporting to a CEO and being on a leadership team, or similar experience Bonus:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
