About East Bay Vision Center Optometry

East Bay Vision Center Optometry was established in 1994 and provides full-service optometry to families and residents in the East Bay region of all ages, insurances, and visual/medical diagnoses. The dedicated team of Optometrists takes a one-on-one approach to preserve eye health and specialize in primary eye care, myopia control, orthokeratology, and specialty contact lenses. With three successful practice locations in Fremont, Oakland, and Pleasanton, the practice is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to help support the expansion of specialty care offerings.

The practice utilizes behind-the-scenes technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. Fully suited with state-of-the-art optical exam technology, the technical support staff performs pretesting with optical coherence tomography, fundus camera, auto-phoropters, and visual field. Using cloud-based software, the office operates in a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records charting from anywhere. Patients will enjoy browsing eyewear from the modern optical boutique that carries high-quality frames plus, the Opticians will style the perfect frames.

About the opening

East Bay Vision Center Optometry is seeking an Associate Optometrist who is passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. In this role, you will provide primary eye care part-time, 16 hours weekly, ramping up to a full-time schedule. The current practice flow supports eight to ten comprehensive examinations daily. A candidate with additional specialty certifications will be a complimentary addition to the team. This is a unique opportunity for you to see a wide variety of ocular conditions, collaborate with talented professionals, work with efficient technical support staff, and build lasting patient relationships.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate is a team player and will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
