Supervisor - Supply Operations

This position is based in Oakland and oversees both Oakland and Portland Stations
Position Overview
Plans, directs, and coordinates warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service and planning services. Manage Supply chain personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations for our west coast distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational Leadership to contract supply chain personnel accountable to ensure training, quality, and compliance in accordance with company and regulatory policies related to safety, security, dispatch reliability and according to regulatory requirements (e.g. FAA, DOT, IATA, Federal, State and local)
Ensure expeditious receipt, shipping and distribution for all material within the OAK and PDX distributions centers
Responsible for the oversite of international trade compliance with the proper shipping documentations for inbound and outbound material from the OAK/PDX distribution centers
Oversee the physical receiving, binning and issuance of supplies and ensuring the accuracy of the computer entries; TRAX data management.
Develop and ensure compliance of all material processes for all shifts; Establish and maintain detailed working knowledge of all business systems, applicable to the operation of airline warehouse functions.
Adhere to the Supply Operations procedures manual.
Collaborate with Inventory Control and Purchasing to expedite receipt and distribution of critical items.
Perform personnel functions, including optimizing manpower coverage/scheduling, tracking of sick calls, vacation, payroll and as needed to support supply management. Responsible for the achieving department budget target.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
5
years of work experience in commercial airline, logistics or a related field
Strong process analysis and continuous improvement skills
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Self-directing, and ability to meet deadlines in dynamic environment
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other business/ERP/MRP systems
Preferred Qualifications
Warehousing and Distribution experience is desired
Lean, Six Sigma and/or process improvement experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
