Teach a course load of math classes in both middle school and high school; teaching duties include instructing students; working with students individually to ascertain students math potential; planning, implementing, and evaluating the math classroom curriculum, presenting math lessons and setting homework assignments; drafting, administering and grading math exams; maintenance of department math equipment, preparing report cards and meeting with parents and school staff to facilitate students academic progress. Assisting the Principal in coordinating and evaluating all department teachers; mentoring department teachers; proposing curricular changes for the Principals review; advising new and continuing teachers within the department; suggesting collaborative initiatives; guiding department instructions; coordinating with the principal and other department teachers about academic issues related to student admissions, transfer and graduation; participating program reviews and accreditations; helping evaluate department faculty when asked.
Bachelors Degree in Math Education and five years of progressive experience as a Math Teacher or related, or Masters Degree in Math Education or related. Also requires a Clear California Teaching Credential in Math. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
