An office setting in a beautiful part of the Oakland Hills Being an early member of a team of dedicated individuals The fun and experience of bringing a new vision to fruition Leasing & Operations Coordinator The Leasing & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Leasing & Operations Manager with various leasing and property management activities for a portfolio of student housing buildings in Oakland, CA.
This includes coordinating the leasing and marketing process from new vacancy to leased unit, and conducting various administrative and communications activities through the course of the tenancy.
The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent organizational skills as well as experience in leasing and property management.
A keen eye for details and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are also essential for success in this role.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting all aspects of the leasing and management process, from initial contact with rental prospects, through move-in and tenancy.
Organize and maintain accurate records of prospective and current tenants, using our industry leading software applications.
Respond promptly to inquiries, schedule viewings, and conduct tours of the dorm rooms.
Provide excellent customer service and establish positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, guarantors and team members.
Assist the Leasing & Operations Manager in overseeing and coordinating necessary management activities for the portfolio to ensure safe and habitable housing, and a positive experience for tenants.
Marketing and social media coordination, such as posting photo/video on Facebook and Instagram twice a week and reply to comments/questions.
Qualifications:
At lease 2 years prior experience in leasing, property management, or a similar role.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior knowledge of AppFolio, Lead Simple and common Microsoft Applications (Teams, Word, Excel, etc) is a BIG PLUS.
Prior knowledge of posting photos/video to Facebook and Instagram, or the ability to learn it quickly.
