RAWR Coffee Bar and cat store offers a selection of handcrafted items for cats and their people including our raw cat food line, toys and swag.
We are also the entry way to our non-profit partner Cat Town, a cat adoption center.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable person who is organized and interested in taking our store under their wing to continue to help it grow and flourish.
Your schedule would be 9:
30-5:
30 Friday through Sunday with a short shift to place orders and receive inventory every other Thursday Morning from 7am-8am.
Pay is dependent on experience.
We need a candidate who is people-friendly, enjoys interacting with the public and love cats.
In addition to this we need someone who is organized and can ensure we are placing orders, keeping our inventory in line and has excellent communication skills.
Day to day would include running the register, advising customers on our cat related products, assessing needs of the shop and keeping it clean and tidy.
As an entry way to Cat Town we tend to have have bursts of customers throughout the day with definite blips of slow time.
You need to be able to manage your downtime in a productive way.
If you do not enjoy a slow paced day and chore tasks in your down time this is not going to be a good fit for you.
Daily tasks include:
General maintenance and upkeep Restocking merchandise Handling purchases Bringing any issues to the owners attention Weekly tasks include:
Ensuring all weekly cleaning tasks are completed Placing order to keep items in stock for all products and merchandise Weekly check in with the owner Setting the schedule for other staff members We are looking for candidates that:
Are highly organized and self motivated Pay close attention to detail Can keep their work space clean Are honest and have integrity Are willing to be trained on our cat food line Are on time.
and can commit to our schedule Want to provide a comfortable and inviting place for the customers despite the worlds state.
Can make a sale and discuss our products and cats in general Willing to learn about our merchandise and our company Job Type:
